Accounting Now, a division of SNI Companies, is hiring for several Staff Accountants across the Denver Metro area, for various local clients. These Staff Accountants will be responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of the company’s reports and statements.
Staff Accountant
Responsibilities:
Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance.
Prepare and file tax returns.
Enter accounting related information into business logs.
Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy.
Organize and update financial records.
Recommend ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue.
Perform monthly bank settlements.
Prepare documentation for external auditors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance highly preferred
2+ years in accounting or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Experience in financial analysis, US tax regulations
CPA or CPA eligibility highly preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation for this position starts at a minimum of $27 per hour. Your actual pay rate will be determined based upon your skills, knowledge and abilities including work experience – talk with your recruiter to learn more.
