Controller/Financial Manager (Hospitality and Restaurant)

Prestigious Hospitality conglomerate focusing in high-end restaurant, food and beverage, entertainment and retail operations now seeks entrepreneur for newly created position to oversee and manage all financial aspects of expanding high powered organization. Seeking (CPA or MBA a plus) with 7+ years (Must have hospitality, restaurant and/or retail industry experience) hands on financial management expertise overseeing general accounting, corporate reporting, GAAP, multi company accounting and consolidations, budget, strategic planning/initiatives, revenue and sales analysis, forecasting, and treasury. Also responsible for FP&A as well as entire efficiencies performance/functions. Act as a financial business partner to senior executive leadership team. Report directly to CFO with the ability to make financial presentations to CEO & Board Members. Assess and evaluate financial performance and infrastructure of the organization. Prepare financial reports in accordance to GAAP. Ability to improve efficiencies as well as internal controls. Identify, track, analyze inventory levels. Handle overall direction of the firm as it relates to strategic planning and the coordination of business initiatives. Responsible for budget, forecasting and variance analysis. Full responsibility for sales revenue, profitability and trend analysis. Analyze expenses throughout the firm and ability to interface with technology team. Prepare reports for board of director meetings. Focus on business initiatives for an entire organization. Ability to handle strategic and operational decisions. Act as solutions and troubleshooting expert. Analyze treasury/cash flow functions. Responsible for financial modeling to analyze financial position and results. Review and manage new internal systems and controls, operations, processes and financial procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information and reporting. Evaluate and manage all business risks and compliance. Oversee contract management, lease agreements and contractual policies and procedures as needed. Responsible for analyzing various event revenue. Communicate with senior team members to drive business initiatives. Ability to analyze P&L and cost saving initiatives. Proven skills in managing staff and ability to build and support effective teams in a fast paced environment. Must have strong communication, presentation, writing and multitasking skills. Coordinate annual audit, tax returns and endowments. Any M&A and IPO Experience a plus. Microsoft Suite and Quickbooks. (Restaurant 365, Micros and Avero a plus)
