People in the Corporate Function contribute to the running of Accenture as a high- performance business through specialization within a specific functional area, and grow into internally focused roles by deepening their skills and/or developing new skills within an internal functional area.
Finance professionals prepare and interpret financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including internal financial controls, to mitigate risk for the company. Finance professionals may also shape and execute client deals to maximize the use of Accenture’s capital and resources, manage cash and/or liaise with the investor community.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Works on the creation of the Equity Forecast models, which includes the calculations of the estimated excess tax benefit, temporary differences, deferred tax assets, forecasted deductions, and forecasted GAAP expense with respect to Accenture equity grants and deliveries (RSU & ESPP stock awards) including:
Prepare monthly consolidated forecast models
Calculate the estimated excess tax benefit
Model multiple excess tax benefit scenarios based on various share price assumptions
Calculate the estimated tax deductions related to equity for each Accenture tax jurisdiction
Assist the Tax Operations team in the monitoring of tax rates and local jurisdiction deductibility rules
Maintain documentation for all countries requiring additional statutory modeling
Work with other finance groups (Shareholder Equity Accounting, Compensation Planning and Analysis, Strategic Planning and Analysis, Local and Corporate Controllership) on share plan transaction activity
Works on the maintenance of the Equity modeling tool
Confirm calculations performed by the tool are accurate and reports display desired outcome
Work with the technical team to resolve any issues
Assist with the creation of accurate forecasts of US GAAP Revenues and Expenses (i.e. Income Before Tax) at the local tax reporting group level.
Assist with the preparation of legal entity Income before Tax Forecast
Analyze variance and trend analysis to explain changes in forecast between cycles and fiscal years
Collaborate with other Finance teams to validate reasonableness and explain variances
Basic Qualifications:
English language required
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance
Minimum of 1 year of Accounting and/or Finance experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Tax skills/experience not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
SAP experience an advantage
Working knowledge of business and finance fundamentals
Strong US GAAP understanding

Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong presentation and organizational skills
Strong oral, written and interpersonal English language skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and different business cultures

California: $49,788 – $120,600
Colorado: $49,788 – $104,200
New York City: $57,625 – $120,600
Washington: $53,015 – $111,000
