Responsible for the financial operations of Aberdeen Foyer, the Finance Manager plays a critical role in supporting the financial resilience of the organisation.
The role will ensure sound financial control, reporting and responsibility for both day-to-day accounting and payroll, as well as involving more strategic reporting, budgeting, and compliance with relevant statutory regulations.
The role is also responsible for the management of the outsourced IT and Health and Safety functions and includes the line management of experienced finance and digital team members.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and organised, with an understanding of the importance of accuracy and integrity in the financial affairs of a third sector organisation.

Overview
Our finance function is critical to the effective and efficient use of our resources in achieving our social purpose. About the Role
The Finance Manager plays a critical role in the team supporting the financial resilience of the organisation including compliance and providing line management support to our inhouse Digital team and oversight of our outsourced support for IT and Health and Safety.
The role involves working closely as a key member of the Leadership Team and offers an opportunity for someone to contribute to a dynamic and thriving organisation.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for the financial operations of Aberdeen Foyer and its two subsidiaries, Foyer Enterprise and Roadwise Driver Training CIC which has a combined turnover of around £4m.
They will ensure sound financial control, reporting and responsibility for both day-to-day accounting and payroll, as well as more strategic reporting, budgeting and compliance with relevant statutory regulations.
