TAX MANAGER JOB

I am seeking a seasoned Tax Professional for one of one of my top clients, a mid-sized progressive, CPA firm, based in the Portland, OR area.

In this role you would enjoy excellent stability and a runway for long-term growth that extends to admission to the partnership.

We are seeking a hard-charging, motivated individual, who has a track record of making an impact to fill a newly created, “in office” Tax Manager role. Remote work options are also available.

You would join a well-established GROWING practice with a diversified book of business. This is a newly created position born out of the need to service the clients of a thriving practice. We would also value the desire to operate in an entrepreneurial environment as well as prior practice management experience. This is truly a collaborative environment wherein your input would be valued and appreciated.

The compensation package includes a base salary (flexible for the right individual) and bonus plan.

Some of the technical skills and experience being sought are:

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting & tax experience in public accounting required.
• CPA license required
• Solid understanding of GAAP
• Tax Returns preparations and reviews: forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1041, 706, 5500 and 990
• Financial statement preparation experience – Review and Compilation engagements
• QuickBooks experience a must
• Understanding of book-tax differences
• Understanding payroll reporting requirements and payroll taxes

Pay: $100,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
