Job Description
As a member of the FP&A team, the Finance Manager will be a part of a nimble, growth oriented PE backed company, in which team members act as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team. Finance plays a critical, highly valued role by providing data-driven insights to operationalize initiatives and execute on financial performance.
The ideal candidate for this position has a well-rounded finance and accounting background and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. This position will provide support for reporting, planning, strategic analytics, and Sales support. The candidate should be a self-starter, team-oriented, inquisitive, and focused on driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate as the lead in Finance for all aspects of the Enterprise Segment’s revenue generating activities, developing a deep understanding of recurring revenue dynamics across product lines, customer segmentation, and growth optimization opportunities
Perform detailed financial analysis on commercial activities including product launches, marketing activities, pricing, competitive activities, and onboarding realization
Serve as lead business partner to the Sales, Marketing, and Client Success teams to develop standard financial and operational metrics.
Oversee and manage financial modeling for new customer deals alongside the Sales and Revenue Operations teams. Support pricing and trade-off decisions
Develop and maintain customer profitability models to help inform optimization opportunities and decision making alongside the Client Success organization
Lead monthly reporting and forecasting analysis of revenue and margin including research, explanation, and resolution of monthly variances. Ensure accuracy and transparency of results.
Manage Senior Analyst including talent and technical skills development
Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in improving its competitive position and profitability.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Must be able to work in the office in Frisco, TX, Tues-Thurs
6+ years related experience in FP&A. Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred.
Detail oriented and able to work in a face paced environment.
Willingness to accept new challenges, and a high level of curiosity and creativity as it relates to new projects, and finding solutions to problems.
Comfortable manipulating large datasets and translating them into functional models. Experience with data visualization and big data tools a plus (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)
Effective communication and cross functional business partnering. Ability to present to all levels of the organization including senior leadership.
Financial modeling and analysis skills, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Workday and Adaptive Planning knowledge preferred.
Proven experience and knowledge of accounting concepts and financial statement construction.
