Job Description Our IT Support Analyst is an integral part of the studio here at Red Storm Entertainment. . This will be an in-office, junior/entry-level position. The IT Support Analyst will partner with the team and will report to the IT Manager. . Offer on-site and off-site support to end users on hardware (workstations, laptops, and printing) and standard software (Windows, Microsoft Office 365 Suite) Interact with external vendors regarding repair of hardware Ensure Security team best practices are applied on workstations & laptops Build and install the new employee’s work environment Update knowledge base with newly diagnosed problems/fixes Maintain the asset inventory Drive change and strive to improve IT policies and processes in the studio Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for IT tasks Monitor, contribute to and maintain system standards Daily activities associated with Windows User and Computer administration and support such as adding, removing or updating user account information and resetting passwords Answers technical queries and provides guidance. Support and maintenance of the computer and console systems used in the Quality Control department Assist with special projects such as optimization or upgrading of servers/network Confidentiality and data integrity is required Occasional off-hours and weekend work is required Qualifications Knowledge/Skills: 6 months – 1 year of experience in technical support to end-users Great sense of customer service, team spirit Good dexterity and ability to perform manual labor Good listening, communication, and organizational skills Basic Windows networking and TCP/IP Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment Expertise in PC and laptop support and desire to keep up to date with developments in technology Able to work quickly, under pressure, and meet deadlines Apple OS and Linux experience a plus Equipment interacted with: Servers, Computers, Monitors, UPS machines, Computer Accessories, Scanners, Copiers and Printers, etc. .
