Terms of Employment

• W2 Contract, 12 Months
• This is a remote opportunity.
• The office is located in Newark, DE.
• The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7 AM-3 PM, 8 AM-4 PM, or 9 AM-5 PM.

Overview

• Our client is seeking a Transmission Reliability Financial Analyst to join their team. The Financial Analyst is responsible for highly cyclical (project-by-project), task-oriented work in corrective maintenance, forecasting, inputting accruals and matching project assignments to EPS ids. They are responsible for processing accruals, completing checkbooks, creating project charge codes, and supporting project close process. The position will require additional various financial tasks and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create ITNs and EPS IDs
• Follow up with sponsor on ITN and Budget Project ID gaps.
• Validate and update cost data for PAR reporting within OPPM.
• Enter EPS Project ID s in OPPM & WPT.
• Create PAR 2 Form and Authorization Forecast within WPT.
• Update PAR 2 authorization deck with cost data from the WPT Authorization Forecast.
• Create PAR 3 Form and Authorization Forecast within WPT.
• Update PAR 3 authorization deck with cost data from the WPT Authorization Forecast.
• Process Checkbook Package
• Participate as required throughout the LRP (Long Range Plan) process.
• Prepare account correction forms
• Process the close forms
• Process accruals in Redwave & PHI Accrual Manager.
• Participate in weekly project and finance meetings.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or equivalent experience and 3+ years of experience in financial systems.
• Experience with accrual-based software/systems and product/budgetary & expenditure software (ie. WPT).
• Hyperion experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerBI.
• Interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members.
• Strong attention to detail
• Great organization, communication skills and being a self-starter.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with Red Wave
• Previous experience with transmission, substation, or distribution financial category management.
