Overview
This position is Remote. Candidates must reside in CA.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 30am – 5 : 30pm
Purpose Statement / Position Summary : The Public Relations Specialist will manage medical beats; pitch stories & research studies to lay & healthcare trade media, local and national outlets.
Write press releases, holding statements, field media requests, prep experts, staff interviews and create talking points.
Also will compose and distribute daily e-clips newsletter, as well as assist with monthly ROI media coverage reports by capturing data and analyzing content using media monitoring services.
Crisis communications also a shared duty and experience a plus.
Minimum Qualifications / Work Experience :
A. local and healthcare trades preferred.
Pitching clinical and research stories to busy editors and reporters is key so communication skills are paramount.
Education / Licensure / Certification : Bachelor’s Degree in public relations, communications, English, journalism, marketing or related field.
Pay Scale Information
$58,240.00-$104,832.00
CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
