Games Finance Analytics team is seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join our team. This is your opportunity to be a core part of the team that has direct impact on the long-term roadmap of Amazon Games. As a BIE, you will partner with other engineers on the team to develop best-in-class business intelligence solutions at scale. You will work with structured datasets to develop KPIs and provide insights.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer on our team, you will work on the cutting-edge data architecture and reporting that powers Cognitive tools and informs data-backed decision-making.
A day in the life
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Seattle, WA, USA
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
– Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
– Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
– Bachelor’s degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with statistical analysis, co-relation analysis
– Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design
– Master’s degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
