Description
The Finance and Operations Associate will play a critical role in supporting the financial and operational functions of the company. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Finance and Operations Associate will work closely with the finance team and various departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the finance team to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget performance and variance analysis, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer invoices accurately and timely. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Cash Management: Manage daily cash flows, including monitoring bank balances, initiating wire transfers, and reconciling bank statements. Assist in cash forecasting to optimize liquidity and minimize risk.
Operational Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and identify areas for efficiency improvements. Support the implementation of new systems or procedures to enhance productivity.
Compliance and Audit: Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives to drive growth and profitability.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in finance, operations, or related roles.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
