The Account Executive’s primary responsibility is to serve as the day-to-day expert on a book of business and the point of contact for clients while maintaining a high level of client and internal team satisfaction. The Account Executive will work with the Relationship Management contact and the team to maximize client retention, maximize new business acquisition, and provide team leadership. Market, service, develop, and retain assigned accountsPerform risk analysis survey of clients and prospects, obtain renewal information, review markets, negotiate with underwriters, create proposals, help present proposals, renew clients, provide proactive daily serviceMeet with clients to provide service, conduct renewals and round out accountsMake recommendations to client.
Prepare proposals, evaluation, and recommendations for other lines of coverageNegotiate with insurance companies to obtain the best combination of coverage, service, and premiumIdentify client needs and provide appropriate service and productsAttend educational activities to maintain product knowledge and expertiseMaintain client files and perform all transactions in computer systemWork in collaboration with Account ManagersUncover and pursue cross-sell opportunities within assigned book of businessIdentify appropriate solutions to address the client’s risk/capital management needsCultivate strong relationships with senior buyer(s) and decision maker(s) in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representativesMaintain a high level of credibility and working relationships with insurance carriers Personal Attributes High level of professionalism with a positive attitudeDetail oriented & self-motivatedAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentConsummate, ethical professional with advanced business acumen Qualifications Minimum of 5 Years Prior Professional Experience as an Account Manager or Account ExecutiveProperty & Casualty license RequiredExperience in a team leadership roleExceptional people skills and the ability to lead Benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits to employees, including medical, dental, STD, LTD and life insurance, 401k, paid time off and much more.
