Responsibilities
Work as an integral member and partner to the Supply Chain and Procurement leadership teams to provide financial expertise to connect activities and actions to financial outcomes
Monitor actual financial performance against forecast, budget and prior year and prepare variance analysis to provide insights and drive improvements
Identify potential productivity improvements and cost reductions in the areas of
warehousing, logistics including freight modes and transportation, raw material
procurement and any other areas necessary across supply chain and procurement
Educate the functions on the connection of activities and KPI’s to financial results
Coordinate the preparation of annual operating plan including budgets and forecasts
in support of the functions’ yearly goals and objectives
Perform analysis and make recommendations to optimize raw material, hard goods
and services contracts, including making recommendations to our commercial teams on the pricing mechanisms within those contracts to assist the business in recovering cost through their pricing strategies
Ensure that adequate control procedures are in place to ensure a strong finance control environment exists across Supply Chain and Procurement activities and is
aligned with corporate policy
Lead one Sr. Financial Analyst for Supply Chain and Procurement and be responsible
for his / her growth and development
Be a supportive member of the Supply Chain Finance leadership team by providing
financial insights against key organizational objectives
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You’ll Need to Succeed :
5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Finance, inclusive of plant, cost accounting, procurement and / or operations
Proficient in SAP, Hyperion and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
Proficient in SharePoint, Power BI, or advanced Excel functions
Ability to concisely contextualize financial information, and provide analysis in a variety of ways (one on one meetings, written reports, formal presentations, etc.)
Be a motivated team player, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Capable of building relationships across variety of departments
Strong organizational skills
Education & Certification :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
