Financial Analyst
Department: Administration
Reports to: Director of Finance
This position is responsible for providing support and analysis of the company’s overall financial model as it specifically relates to service contracts, pricing, costs, inventory levels, overall expenditures and budgets. Providing key financial analytics and reporting allows executive management to make sound business decisions, helping to ensure the stability and continued success of our company. The Director of Finance is retiring so this role would be an on ramp to that position.
Description (Summary/Objective):
The Financial Analyst assists with the implementation and maintaining of our company’s financial policies and with the control of all areas of finance-related operations. This highly-detailed individual handles the administration and analysis of service contracts and all functions related to general accounting. This self-motivated person assists in providing consistent financial reporting and analysis to senior-level management and upholds and exemplifies our company’s commitment to excellence, honesty and integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
The Financial Analyst works directly with the Director of Finance and our dedicated team of Customer Support Specialists and collaborates with members of the Service and Sales Departments as needed. Specific responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Supervision (Supervisory Responsibilities):
While this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, the Financial Analyst may periodically be called upon to assist with training our Customer Support Specialists and this role could lead to the Director of Finance position in a very short amount of time.
