We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Director to join our client, a leading advertising company in Puerto Rico. As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing client accounts, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional advertising and digital marketing solutions.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building strong and trusted relationships.
Understand clients’ business objectives, marketing strategies, and challenges to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
Collaborate with clients to develop advertising and digital marketing strategies aligned with their goals.
Ensure client satisfaction, address concerns, and maintain open lines of communication.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead and mentor a team of account executives and other relevant personnel.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and evaluate performance.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
Business Development:
Identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts and develop account expansion strategies.
Prospect for new clients and lead new business pitches and presentations.
Collaborate with the business development team to develop proposals and negotiate contracts.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to provide strategic recommendations.
Advertising and Digital Marketing Strategy:
Leverage your strong advertising background and digital marketing expertise to develop effective strategies.
Provide insights and guidance on campaign planning, messaging, targeting, and media selection.
Collaborate with creative, media, and digital teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience (minimum 8 years) as an Account Director or similar role in the advertising industry.
Strong advertising background with a deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing channels.
Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring teams.
Business acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities within client accounts.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of delivering successful advertising campaigns.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in industry tools and software.
