(~~~) Purpose: XBS Mid Atlantic Coastal region and XIT is seeking a Finance Manager to support with critical reporting, data analytics, forecasting and planning activities. Responsible for overseeing activities of Shared Services, financial analysis of business activity and development of business plans, outlooks and assessments. Scope: General: + Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services + Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience + Requires in-depth knowledge and experience + Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan Responsibilities: + Oversee daily activity of the A/P, A/R, billing, contract administration departments and ensure that they are meeting internal and Xerox benchmarks + Oversees the Deal Administrators and liaises with Sales Management, Sales and offshore teams. + Approve A/R credit approvals above a certain dollar threshold + Credit memo monitoring on monthly basis + Respond and assist customers and vendors that call in with a need or question + Oversee treasury reporting + Assist in the management, training, and development of Shared Services personnel + Coordinate preparation, review and distribution of monthly reporting needed for senior management analysis of operating results + Provide senior management with financial analysis tools / reports used to analyze the business on a monthly basis, or as needed + Prepares financial and business related analyses and research in areas such as financial and expense performance + Assists in forecasting and budgeting + Assist the Region Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with deal reviews and help determine proper accounting treatment of financial transactions and other general accounting related matters + Maintain effective internal controls (including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act compliance) related to the financial statement close process + Act as the liaison with auditors for reviews and annual audit as well as coordinate preparation of operating company audit packages as needed + Attend Finance, P&L, Management, and other meetings to provide information, guidance, and support + Serve as the Special projects focal point Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is highly preferred + Three (3) to five (5) years prior experience in a public accounting firm or business environment + One (1) to two (2) years prior management experience is preferred + Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and general business practices + Computer/technology savvy with strong advanced Microsoft Excel skills + Strong supervisory and team-building skills + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Detail-oriented and organized + Able to multitask + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision + Able to work effectively within tight time constraints and meet end of month deadlines #LI-CS2 #LI-REMOTE Xerox is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, ancestry, national origin, age, gender identity, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, use of a guide dog or service animal, military/veteran status, citizenship status, basis of genetic information, or any other group protected by law.
