Overview
Perform a variety of financial administrative tasks, including managing and updating records, processing invoices, and tracking transactions. Preparing and processing transactions, review financial documents and information and interact with vendors and internal staff to resolve any problems or queries.
Job Duties:
Request New Vendor Set-ups and Vendor Changes
Review documents to determine W9 tax classification.
Confirm TIN matching.
Review invoices for vendor type.
Validate address for USPS.
Correspond with vendors, field personnel, and shared services.
Maintain high accuracy level on vendor set up entries.
Verify, code, and submit vendor invoices accurately.
Communicate any discrepancies to Finance Manager
Track and issue POs for branch
Reconcile PO Tracker at the end of each month for any outstanding items.
Maintain monthly expense tracker and reconcile at the end of each month.
Prioritize based on the team and department needs; multitasks and meet deadlines.
Adapt to the day-to-day and unexpected situations.
Respond to inquiries and complaints from external and internal sources.
Respond to inquiries by telephone or in writing; refers complex problems for solution.
Complete company required training within set deadlines.
Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed.
Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position.
Assist with other accounting task as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements:
High School diploman or GED
1-2 years of experience in finance or accounting-related role
Strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Products
Know, understand, and follow governmental regulations, teammate guidelines, and all other ABM policies
Knowledge of JD Edwards and Oracle a plus.
Must be a quick learner and can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Must possess attention to detail and be organized to be successful in this role.
Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing work, and meeting strict deadlines.
Must possess a professional, proactive, enthusiastic attitude and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
Working knowledge of general office equipment.
Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.
Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
