RP is hiring an Accounting Manager to assist the accounting department. This is a new position for the Company and the Accounting Manager would report to the Controller. The Accounting Manager would assist with the daily operations of both the accounting department. In addition, the Accounting Manager would play a key role in the month end close process. The ideal candidate would be an individual who has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who is able to be self-directed and work independently with limited supervision. The Accounting Manager would be expected to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving to assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures for the first time, as needed. RP is looking for a candidate that has strong technical skills in both GAAP and FAR who is also well versed in systems such as PROCAS and iSolved. Other core requirements of this position include the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment, good time management skills, the ability hit deadlines, and to pivot quickly when needed. This position will be a good fit for a growth-minded individual who is empowered to help build out a new accounting and finance department as the company continues to grow. This position is mainly remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the office.
