Job Summary :
This position is responsible for developing, scheduling, and carrying out marketing plans for all books published by Northwestern University Press in coordination with the department’s sales and publicity activities and with the primary goal of selling books.
Main areas of leadership and responsibility : exhibits, events, catalogs, collateral materials, review copies, AQ processing, copy writing, and report writing.
Please note : Some travel and weekend work required.
Specific Responsibilities :
Functions as Exhibits Manager, creating an annual events roster and budget in coordination with the acquisitions department.
Plans and supports Press exhibits at scholarly meetings, trade book sales, and author events. Attends and manages most local trade events where sales occur.
Designs and typesets ad mechanicals.
Miscellaneous
Performs other duties as assigned.
