Finance Intern:
Performs assigned responsibility as part of an Internship Program. This person will work under the guidance of Senior Controller to support the Engineering Finance team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn about Adient systems/processes and how to properly utilize various resources.
Participate in team discussions and financial performance reviews.
Develop process for investigating and troubleshooting issues with unallocated cash, bad debt, aged POs/receipts, etc.
Work with various stakeholders to meet or exceed financial deliverables (e.g. Requisitioners, BBC/MBC teams, Logistics, etc.)
Work closely with Logistics department to develop a reconciliation process for FedEx shipments.
Perform headcount reconciliation between systems (WorkDay and Hercules).
Perform other small ad-hoc requests and analysis related to Engineering Finance as needed
Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university and working towards a 4 year B.S. degree in Finance
Available to work up to 40 hours per week
Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.0.
Previous internship or co-op experience an added plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail, organization skills and follow up
Proficient in MS Office
