RP is hiring an Accountant to assist the accounting department that would report directly to the Controller. The Accountant would assist with the daily operations of both the accounting department and the growing FP&A needs of the company. In addition, the Accountant would play a key role in the month end close process. The ideal candidate would be a detail oriented individual who has strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, who is able to be self-directed and work independently with limited supervision. The Accountant would be expected to coordinate with the Senior Accountant and Controller in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures as needed. RP is looking for a candidate that has strong technical skills in GAAP and has experience with systems such as PROCAS. Other core requirements of this position include the ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment, good time management skills, the ability to hit deadlines, and to pivot quickly when needed. This position will be a good fit for a growth-minded individual who is empowered to help build out a new accounting and finance department as the company continues to grow. This position is a non-supervisory mainly remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the office.
