JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Finance will create and provide timely and accurate financial forecasting, budget modeling, treasury management and strategic analysis on all aspects of company’s finance activities.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate with department heads to create annual budget and own the entire process.
· Create, deliver and present reporting packages to the executive team.
· Evaluate progress toward achieving financial goals and map out forward-looking expectations.
· Lead monthly budget reviews and detailed variance analysis to drive insight and create action plans.
· Create forecasting tools to identify and track KPI’s within the business.
· Create cash forecasting to provide timely reporting to CFO regarding cash needs based on budgeted operations.
· Partner with department heads to analyze cost saving business case scenario modeling and ROI analysis.
· Provides analysis and evaluation of business strategies; assists with company strategic planning.
· Prepare ad-hoc reporting to management as required.
· Develop efficiencies and process improvements both inside and outside of the FP&A department.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· Master of Business Administration/Finance or bachelor’s degree in finance with extensive training and a proven track record of success in finance.
· 10+ years’ experience preferred with a minimum of five (5) years related work experience in the healthcare space.
· Extensive working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
· Experience in creating sophisticated forecasting model tools.
· Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
· Excellent analytical and data manipulation skills to facilitate data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
· Very strong excel skills including but not limited to using macros.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present information to various levels of management.
· Strong organizational skills and problem skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
· Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
· Proven leadership and business acumen skills with high degree of trust and integrity.
· Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
· Commitment to excellence and high standards.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
