Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Manager:
As the Liberty Military Housing Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse and inventory operations for your district to support completion of make-readies, work orders and any special projects. You will direct and oversee the purchasing, receipt, coordination and distribution of parts and inventory, maintain vendor compliance for the department and secure vendors to ensure inventory needs are met. You will be monitoring company policies and procedures and ensure the department is following all regulatory requirements.
Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Responsible for overseeing inventory by ensuring orders are processed accurately and expediently by team members and are meeting allocated budget expectations.
Maintains inventory to support work orders and make ready completion.
Maintains inventory of property tools.
Inventory of property assets, equipment and capital purchases.
Ensure all items are properly tracked and processed within inventory operating and purchasing systems.
Ensure purchases orders are being created for any purchase or contracted service and allocated per budget time allocations.
Operates under implemented approved budget on a day to day basis and is held accountable for operating within budget guidelines.
Solicits bids, negotiates with vendors for goods and services, hold vendors accountable for billing accuracy and adherence to property policies and procedures.
Actively identify opportunities for more efficient practices.
Develop forms, records and revisions to documents as needed for inventory control, project activities and continued operational accountability.
Responsible for creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews in order to achieve warehouse operational objectives.
Constantly evaluates warehouse processes and procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that the inventory is monitored accurately within the system and during counts.
Responsible for identifying problem areas and procedural deficiencies relating to stock shortages.
Must ensure the health, safety and cleanliness of the work environment and assist in overseeing the weekly inspection of vehicles, machinery and tools.
Leads and manages warehouse team members on a day to day basis.
Trains, coaches and mentors team member for performance improvements, develop and appropriately manage employee’s performance reviews.
Practices fair and professional conduct with team members in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Provides ongoing work assignments for team members, provides on the job training and monitors progress. Schedules work hours for assigned team members.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times-on and off the property.
Escalate property issues to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with all OSHA regulations. Maintains knowledge of building(s) fire and safety emergency systems.
Uphold all company policies, goals and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to manage processes and identify procedural gaps
Ability to manage team members effectively

Ability to accurately analyze information

Ability to prioritize between company and individual challenges
Must be willing to work evenings or weekends in the case of an emergency
