Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a world-leading Fortune 500 industrial gases company, has an opening for a Procurement Coordinator – Technology at our Corporate Headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The successful candidate will support SAP procurement and budgeting activities in the Global Gases Technology organization and will report to the Director of Standard Products Technology.
The Procurement Coordinator – Technology Assistant will be responsible for the following:
Build project system structures in SAP: includes WBS, network, budgeting, reporting, and opening new Technology projects.
Submit orders and payments in SAP: use the Vender Invoice Management system, resolve goods receipt and invoice issues, generate requisitions, interact with vendors and the SAP team, process invoices through E-form, work with procurement, and follow Technology work processes.
Administer the Technology Library: submit subscription payments in SAP, assist with renewals, monitor usage metrics of e-journals, and provide general support of the online library.
Oversee Technology’s technical reports: provide access to our inhouse application and exclusive files, troubleshoot access, and monitor file retrieval.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related field
Proficient in SAP procurement, budgeting, and project generation
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Excel
Discreet, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and adaptable
Eager to learn and continue to develop their capabilities
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to contribute within a diverse team environment and to work across multiple groups
