As a Workday AMS Sr. Manager at Deloitte, you will join an organization that has a sixteen-year relationship with Workday leadership and more than nine years as a Global Alliance Partner. Our Enterprise Performance Operate team focuses on on-going operations and maintenance of our client’s platforms, including design and implementation of system enhancements and new product features as well as testing and deploying periodic upgrades. Professionals have hands-on access and exposure to the latest technologies and thought leaders.
Deloitte’s AMS/Operate services act as an extension to client’s organizations by bringing deep capabilities in advising, maintaining and enhancing technologies to serve alongside client teams to deliver insights across flexible economic models that align cost to consumption, delivery to realized outcomes and engagement accountability to a truly collaborative partnership.
Work you’ll do Responsibilities will include:
Client Management: Manage day to day interactions with executive clients and sponsors
Delivery: Manage team, service delivery, engagement delivery, releases for all application activities including enhancements, incidents and future releases resulting in high-quality client management.
Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
People Development: Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Qualifications Required:
10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
4+ years’ experience overseeing multiple project teams
Experience with Workday financials, procurement and supply chain applications and architectures
Hands on experience solutioning and/or managing Application Management/Operate teams
Project Sales experience
Travel up to 25%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred:
Senior experience with a market leading consulting organization
Workday Adaptive Insights certification
Proven skills as a project manager on multiple full life cycle implementations.
Experience with Workday/Adaptive Insights and/or other leading Cloud based SaaS EPM applications (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Cognos TM1, Host, Prophix, OneStream, etc.)
General knowledge of trends with leading and emerging financial and supply chain technology vendors and solutions
Demonstrated knowledge or interest in emerging digital technologies shown through either knowledge, experience or academic exposure, including Cognitive, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Natural Language Processing, Visualizations, and Predictive Analytics
Adept at implementing and performing application management for technology-enabled business solutions for clients.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
Ability to engage and manage senior-level client relationships
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint).
Willingness to mentor junior staff.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $168,000 to $280,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
