Gonzalez Food Products, (dba Mexsnax) a growing national snacks manufacturing company, located in Dallas Texas, is now recruiting a Production Manager that will be responsible for managing production to meet production demand for multiple product lines. The production manager is responsible for keeping production equipment operational with the goal of meeting production demand and established quality standards. The position is regular full time with starting pay: $ 20 -30 per hour depending on work experience.
Reporting structure:
This position that reports directly to the Vice President and Operations manager.
Summary of Primary Responsibilities:
1. Manages production processes according to the instructions established for that purpose.
2. Makes sure equipment and production runs smoothly by supervising frequent check-ups in order to keep conditions optimal for machine performance.
3. Supervises and controls processing variables, putting in place any corrective action if needed.
4. Maintains a safe and clean working environment that adheres to all safety, cleanliness and health protocols as established.
5. Demonstrates a strong work ethic and follows established processes and procedures set forth by the company, including health and safety protocols.
6. Shows commitment to being a team player; Interacts, communicates and works effectively with other work teams and contributes ideas and suggestions to resolve production issues.
7. Responsible for resolving, and or troubleshooting machine or computer breakdowns in the production operation with the purpose of guaranteeing a smooth production process to meet production demand..
8. Interacts, communicates and works effectively with a diverse work team, including interfacing departments.
9. May prepare incident, narrative and administrative reports as requested.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of the Production manager, the employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 10-30 and occasionally 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to work 8-10-12 hour shifts regularly with occasional extended shifts.
