What We Need:
The Company is seeking a Finance Manager to support the Podcast Division. This person will directly report to the Director of Finance and partner with Digital Sales and Operations leadership. The ideal candidate will be an independent, strategic, and analytical thinker who is a strong team player.
What You’ll Do:
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly support the Director of Digital Finance and team.
Participate in and lead financial variances for forecast, budget and monthly close packages.
Act as point of contact to the senior podcast sales leadership and lead weekly forecast review meetings
Interface with the business, corporate finance, & accounting to ensure accurate data and information gathering
Responsible for understanding detailed financials, key variances and identifying risks/opportunities to the business.
Publish weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, and provide business perspective.
Build process improvements that identify and track key operating metrics that can be leveraged to develop planning tools.
Create financial models to support P&L forecasting, annual budgeting process, and evaluation of strategic business decisions.
Required to have full understanding and be subject matter expert of all digital’s ordering systems and trafficking.
Perform analysis/deep dives on profitability and other periodic ad-hoc analytical projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION
5 to 7 years of analytical experience in financial planning, operations or any other finance-heavy division
Experience with digital advertising is a plus
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with a focus on speed and efficiency
Experience with Tableau and SQL a plus
Must be a self-starter, team-oriented and critical thinker
Compensation:
Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
$105,000 – $165,000
