Duties:
Administer logistics and expenses for Contract Crew tours.
Create and manage invoices for Federal Government Reimbursements, following the National
Wildlife Coordinating Group Standards for Interagency Incident Business Management.
Proficiently navigate financial and document-publishing software for reports requested by the
Finance Director.
Administer existing financial accounts related to the Organization and Fire Crew.
Keep in constant communication with the Finance Director, Fire Program Manager, and
Superintendent for smooth transitions of Contract Crew financial activities, before-during-after
tours.
Collect past financial data from previous fire assignments to detect trends that directly impact
our Fire Crew in changes constantly being made by Local/State/National agencies for successful
adaptation outcomes.
Assist with account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
Assist and establish accounts with internal software in accordance with multiple funding year
dates.
Approve general ledger registers as needed in the absence of the Finance Director.
Prepare and assist with annual and bi-annual audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Point of contact for finances relating directly to the CATG Contract Crew: Fed Mall, BLM AFS,
OSG.
Remain familiar with existing and incoming sources of funding obligations, deliverables, and
expected financial reporting.
Become familiar with existing accounts held by CATG for financial reporting.

Annually evaluate trends in purchasing methods used by Contract Fire Crews, Nation-Wide,
and advise the Finance Director of Results/Recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Development, Accounting, or related field.
At least 2 years of professional accounting experience.
Education + Experience may be used in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree: Associate’s Degree + 5 years
of professional accounting experience.
Strong verbal, written, and communication skills, including public relations experience for
recruitment purposes.
Strict attention to detail, highly organized, and efficient.
Additional Information:
This positions shall hold high regard to the communication styles, and remain aware of the
sensitivity to the cultural uniqueness of the consortium’s Tribal Members. Due to the
capabilities with technology and modern software capabilities, this position can successfully be
operated remotely with a restriction to the Interior of Alaska, as impromptu travel can occur for
ensuring program obligation success.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are of Native American/Alaska Native
descent as written in PL638.
