Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Promote the credit union and and ensure that all decisions and actions are in the best interest of members, partner organizations, and outside agencies.
Manage daily operations, ensuring that members are provided with efficient and consistent service across all branches
Develop, maintain, and administer all operational policies and procedures
Ensure that the resources of the credit union are adequate to meet member needs
Manage staff performance through coaching, performance evaluation, and delegation where appropriate
Oversee the security and safety of all branches
Effectively manage and secure credit union assets, including its premises and all contents.
Manage and control cash and other resources per the board’s direction.
Coordinate the operation of all technical needs of the credit union.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, accounting, finance, or closely related field
Management experience with other credit unions or financial institutions
Technical understating in administration, accounting, reporting, compliance, lending, collections, technology, and day-to-day credit union operations.
Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedures manuals for operational processes.
Must be proficient with spreadsheets and common software usage (email, word processing, etc.)
Strong interpersonal, human resources skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
