Combining deep technical know-how with expert creative craftsmanship Active Production can design, deliver, and produce elaborate Virtual Events, Meetings, Gatherings for everything from virtual streaming to on-site live events.
The Sales Account Manager will work out of our Atlanta, GA location. This is a salaried exempt position with a commission structure.
Position Summary/Objective: The Sales Account Manager is a customer relationship management role within the Audio Visual Division. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining existing clients,working new leads from referrals and the marketing department, and selling products and services on the AV side of the business. In addition to sales, the Account Manager also oversees sold shows, and ensures there is a proper hand-off to the Production Team. During the entire show production process, the Account Manager is the central point of contact for the client.

-Base Salary will be between 50K and 55K and depending upon industry sales experience. There is also a commission structure for the Sales Account Manager
-Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision-1st day of the month following start date
Ancillary benefits and paid time off at 90 days of FT employment
Essential Functions: While not all-inclusive, following is a list of primary and general duties of the Sales Account Manager. In addition to these listed duties, this position shall also perform other tasks as assigned, shall abide by all provisions of the Employee Manual, and shall participate in all company initiatives and projects.
Maintain existing clients year over year.
Service new clients for all products and services.
Identify and create solutions for client projects that meet the demands of the client’s and Company’s budget, pricing policies, and safety regulations.
Provide Accurate information including scope of work, location, times, gear and correct trucking.
Properly complete all cost-out documents and proposals pursuant to company quoting standards and policies.
Manage communication and expectations with our clients regarding cost and specs.
Be accountable for the collection of signed contracts and deposits on every show.
Complete expense and other company-required reports in a timely manner as required by company policy.
Bill Labor correctly for maximum profitability.
Accurately indicate changes in operations calendar.
Post media/ deliverables for all books show.
Follow up on success metrics with clients for each show.
Required Education and Experience, The Sales Account Manager
Knowledge of creation and execution of Audio/Visual events, including production of those events is preferred.
Experience serving as the primary point of contact to a customer base is preferred.
Excellent communication skills both written and oral are required.
Experience with special effects safety regulations and permit requirements/processes is preferred but for the right candidate, training will be provided.
Ability to work within deadlines and to multitask are required.
Possessing a keen attention to detail with strong organisational skills is required.
Ability to solve our clients’ problems and needs with creative solutions is required.
Being comfortable connecting to new people. Accepting wins and losses without lingering effects is essential.
Ability to follow established company policies and procedures, and make recommendations for changes.
Strong computer skills are required as per our sales process and use of CRM and sales tools.
Ability and willingness to be coached to learn and grow their skill set will be necessary for success in this role and with the company.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions is required.
Work Environment, The Sales Account Manager
This job operates in a professional office environment and on the road at venues and meeting with clients. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
Physical Demands
The person in this role must be able to remain in a stationary position 25% of the time and must move about occasionally inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and have routine contact with individuals in the office. The person in this role must frequently climb stairs, travel and have the ability to move about both indoor and outdoor venues with stairs and multiple levels. This person in this role must be willing to drive to multiple locations and venues for extended periods of time. This person in this role must be able to lift 25 lbs routinely and 50 lbs occasionally.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried/exempt position. Hours of work are a typical work day schedule, except during high travel/high volume sales periods when evening and weekend work will be required.
Travel
This Sales Account Manager position requires frequent travel; at least 40% of the time. Travel will be mixed; local and outside the local area and overnight.
