Main responsibility is to perform marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of products and services dealer accounts through personal customer contact.
Travel through assigned territory, quotes prices, and conduct sales presentations.
Develop and implement sales strategies and product promotions.
Resolve customer issues, respond to complaints and receivable problems, and provide claims service.
Maintain knowledge of competitor products.
Manage territory / customers for profitable results.
Provide promotional and merchandising support to customers to support vendors.
Develop promotions, administer co-op.
Focus on industrial market (Industrial Sales Manager).
Manage industrial vendor relationships, product selections (Industrial Sales Manager).
Provide training to customers, customer associates, and contractors and Sales Reps.
Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and process improvement.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications: College Degree, or equivalent work experience in related job responsibility
Preferred Qualifications: Typically 3-5 years of experience in related job position; May require professional certification
