In the upcoming months, we’re implementing a series of significant changes in our Finance Department including an ERP transition and an expansion into additional production facilities. We’re looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys getting involved at every level of the organization and is excited about the opportunity to employ new strategies to guide the company forward. Job Responsibilities
Budgeting- Work collaboratively across all departments to develop and maintain the financial guardrails for the company. Dig deep into the details of the underlying operations of a domestic manufacturer.
Project support- Drive financial decisions and strategies on capital improvements and expansions, bids and contracts, customer account management, etc.
A/R and A/P- Build strategies to manage interactions with customers and vendors to ensure cashflow requirements are met.
Variance Analysis- Develop tools to gain a greater understanding of dynamic manufacturing environment. Identify red flags and implement corrective strategies.
Reporting- Provide complete financial visibility to all stakeholders by constantly evolving and refining the means of communication and analysis.
Intrastate and International Requirements- Build expertise in and maintain compliance with the import and export needs of the company related to VAT, duties, sales tax, etc.
Banking, Insurance and Consultants- Manage policies, relationships and utilization of all financial institutions, insurance partners, and external financial resources.
Interdepartmental support- Proactively support initiatives across the company related to everything from compliance to auditing to process and policy development.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or related field
5 years experience in senior level accounting or business management role
Proficiency in Netsuite and related partner applications strongly preferred
Experience in manufacturing strongly preferred
