About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Analyst for the Stress Testing & RRP Team within Corporate FP&A. The team is responsible for leading, directing and ensuring completion of financial forecasts that accompany the firm-wide stress testing, capital planning, and recovery & resolution planning exercises. In this role, you will:
Participate in functions related to financial forecasting, financial research, and reporting
Perform analysis of key metrics, as well as other financial consulting related to business performance, operating and strategic reviews
Present recommendations for resolving all aspects of delivering key forecasting projections as well as financial reporting to support bi-annual stress testing, quarterly legal entity forecasting, and annual Recovery and Resolution plan forecasting
Execute models and end-user computing tools
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the scope of responsibilities
Research moderate to complex financial data in support of management decision-making for the enterprise
Create and communicate various activities such as product pricing, product, and portfolio performance
Exercise independent judgment to guide key metrics forecasting, closing data and validation
Develop expertise on reporting that meets brand standards and internal control standards
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
A BS/BA degree or higher
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Wells Fargo’s balance sheet/product offerings
Experience with forecasting tools Essbase/Dodeca
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx
CPA, CFA, MBA
Passion to learn new skills including new software/tools
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Solid critical thinking skills
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Intellectual curiosity
Experience creating narrative documentation for regulatory submissions
Experience understanding regulatory guidance and translating into deliverables
Experience with governance and control requirements for regulatory and risk reporting
