Transaction Support – Corporate Finance Strategy (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1130522), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.
Advise clients across the transaction lifecycle focusing on corporate finance strategy. Develop business strategies by analyzing market trends or conditions, industry trends, financial data, and utilizing customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization. Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction. Assist in defining the objective and scope of strategy engagements and client deliverables in consultation with the Vice President and Managing Director. Manage workstreams/projects from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have 2 years of industry or consulting experience including managing business strategy and M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.
Must have 2 years of experience making detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Must have 1 year of experience with mergers and acquisitions in a consulting environment.
Must have 1 year of experience in project management and in supervising engagement teams comprised of 2 or more team members.
Must have 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Travel required approximately 40%.
