Position Overview:
Program Accounting, Material Analysis and Program estimate at completion development
Direct all program financial forecasts consisting of sales, profit, and cash as assigned.
Principle Accountabilities:
Forecast programs monthly, quarterly and annual sales, profit, and cash
Prepare Earned Value (EVMS) analyses and reports
Perform variance and risk analyses to forecasted results (EAC, sales, profit and cash), identifying specific drivers
Review weekly labor/material charges and prepare necessary cost transfers
Conduct ad-hoc analysis and support on assigned programs
Prepare and manage customer invoicing
Support proposal cost and pricing efforts
Support preparation of financials for program, proposal and other management reviews
Communicate business and financial data to senior leadership in a timely, clear and concise manner
Provide close support and guidance to finance and program management in their oversight of assigned programs
Develop relationships with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, contracts, and other Integrated Product Team functional leaders to gain insights and information needed for accurate program financial forecasting
Contract closeout team support
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field
2+ years of related experience in program accounting
Must have intermediate to expert level Microsoft Excel skills focusing on Pivots, vlookups, macros, etc
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Power Point
Preferences:
Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Hyperion forecasting, Earned Value Management processes and tools (COBRA/MS Project)
Demonstrate promise/desire to develop strong leadership skillset including the ability to interact with customers and form strong business relationships with key program leaders
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with general supervision
Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening)
Ability to get and maintain a security clearance
