About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst within the Wealth and Investment Banking organization. Reporting to the Finance Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis team, primary function are forecasting/review/analysis of expenses, including monthly close, quarterly forecasting and stress testing. The role will also be involved with initiative project portfolio, business unit analysis and ad hoc project assignments. Position offers knowledge of investment business groups with full income statement and balance sheet accountabilities in addition to cross-training and exposure to various Finance teams.
In this role, you will:
Analyze expense trends, prepare analytics/commentary on P&L and balance sheet drivers
Research and prepare monthly/quarterly expense forecasting trends and reports
Work closely with, and ensure compliance with, governance/risk management/internal controls teams, processes, programs
Demonstrate intellectual curiosity with appropriate skepticism to review/challenge/enhance/transform current processes that can benefit from improvements; take ownership to push things forward
Uphold/maintain balance between risk mitigation and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Proficient Essbase and Excel skills
Desired Qualifications:
BS Degree or higher education or equivalent in finance, analytics or equivalent experience
Business investment management career experience
Advanced MS Office skills, SharePoint and/or Essbase skills
Strong analytical skills including financial metrics analysis
Ability to exercise independent judgment and work within a team to identify/resolve problems
Pay Range
$73,100.00 – $129,900.00 Annual
