The Finance Manager is responsible for the development of operational budgets and management of the SG&A forecast process for Optum Behavioral Health. Responsibilities include financial modeling, profitability reporting, analysis of financial and operational metrics to evaluate business performance, and effective communication of findings to senior leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborates with business leaders and shared services allocation partners to develop SG&A and FTE forecasts
Month-end close activities including early estimates, monthly results reporting, and variance analysis
Maintains and refines cost allocation model with activity-based metrics to generate P&Ls by line of business
Partners with business leaders to evaluate capital investment opportunities and cost savings initiatives to drive financial growth
Presents complex financial data and makes recommendations to senior leadership
Supervises a team of three financial analysts

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
5+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience
Advanced skills in Excel
Solid financial, analytical, and business acumen
Preferred Qualifcations:
MBA
Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft applications experience
Healthcare industry experience
Supervisory experience
Solid communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas
Self-starter able to deal with ambiguity and change while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600.
