We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager for the Corporates Outbound Product Marketing team to drive channel enablement for Partnerships and Alliances for our Legal and Tax portfolios; this includes product launch activities and messaging for both the Legal Research and Software product lines. You will own a wide range of essential product marketing activities necessary to increase product awareness and usage, enable sales channels, launch products, and drive retention.
Note: This is a *hybrid role (*mix of working from home and in-office) and can be based in either of these Hub office locations: Dallas area (Carrollton), Minneapolis/St. Paul area (Eagan).
More About the Role
In this opportunity as Product Marketing Manager you will:
Work closely with internal and external teams including channels/segments, product management, sales, sales enablement, inbound product marketing, marketing strategy, creative and production, campaign planning, and content center of excellence to develop and execute product marketing programs and initiatives.
Act as key execution arm of new product launches and releases; plan and manage new product launch calls and delivery of channel enablement tools for relevant channels.
Deliver and support development of high-impact product marketing activities that drive and support product awareness, client usage and retention, market leadership, and enable new sales and up-selling/cross-selling for the Legal product lines.
Develop product positioning and market-facing messaging that promotes our Legal offerings in the Corporates market.
Communicate product-specific value propositions to the market and internal/external teams and develop materials/tools that support the channels/segments in meeting their sales and revenue goals.
Proactively produce product awareness and consideration programs. Provide analyses to measure ROI and effectiveness, and recommendations for program refinement in the future.
Analyze, interpret, and utilize market information, including customer and competitive data and market research to build effective product marketing programs and strategies.
Develop marketing materials such as sell sheets, web pages, videos, battlecards, pitch decks, etc., with input from stakeholders across the business.
About You
You may be a fit for the role of Product Marketing Manager if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or communications (or equivalent experience); MBA or JD preferred
5+ years of strategic management, strategic communications, strategic marketing, customer segment marketing, or similar experience
Experience working in a sales channel and/or supporting a sales channel through commercial and customer growth programs. Alliance / Partner marketing a plus.
Comprehensive business acumen of key financial metrics including Revenue, Net Sales, Price, Promotion, and Incentives
Proven leadership/collaboration with cross functional teams to deliver business results
Demonstrated ability to define, structure and lead complex strategic projects end-to-end
Capable of working in a matrixed environment; ability to support multiple time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously
Strong verbal, written and influential presentation skills
