Job role: NOV Rig Technologies is actively recruiting for an FP&A Manager to provide FP&A and Accounting support for Aftermarket facilities.
Primary responsibilities:
– Provide FP&A and accounting support for various global Aftermarket facilities
– Manage a team of analysts, tasked with supporting various regions/facilities
– Partner with operations management to provide reporting, strategic support, and technical assistance with operational processes
– Lead group’s involvement in month-end close processes (journal entries, SOX/compliance requirements, etc.)
– Presentation of monthly/quarterly performance results to operations and finance management groups
– Review and analysis of monthly actuals vs plan, forecast, and trend
– Partner with operations to develop annual plan and ongoing monthly forecast adjustments, by business line and region
– Assist in periodic internal and external audits
– Help to drive continuous improvement to develop more efficient and accurate reporting
– Assist in special assignments as needed
– Some travel may be required.
Education and experience qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– CPA and/or MBA preferred, but not required
– 5+ years of accounting and/or financial planning and analysis experience
– Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
– High level of dedication to meeting customer requests and required time commitments
– Proven track record of results and ability to partner with all levels within the organization
– Working knowledge of US GAAP
– Hyperion Financial Management and/or Oracle experience a plus
