The Marketing Specialist will help drive/support key marketing initiatives and develop marketing campaigns. Activities will span brand building and awareness generation, project management, operational execution, and sales effectiveness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage operational systems and processes central to delivering marketing services to internal and external partners
Assist in the development and management of social media campaigns, website features, and brand building initiatives
Gather, assemble, and help develop content for emails, social media, newsletters, and sales materials
Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and prospect to inform the B2B sales go-to-market strategy
Partner with the B2B business development team on prospect targeting and lead cultivation activities, ranging from conference/event coordination to client presentation support and sales follow up
Identify gaps and opportunities in the end-to-end customer experience to enhance customer conversion and retention rates
Serve as liaison for campus communications through informal and formal channels (e.g., request intake and status, push screen communications, and more)
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
3+ years in a marketing, advertising, or a PR capacity
Experience using basic digital marketing platforms from social media to email
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Savvy with various marketing softwares/systems
