The Finance Manager assists in managing the financial activities of PDRTA. Recommends to the Director of Finance, major economic strategies, objectives, or policies. Prepares reports which summarize and forecast the Authority’s business activity and financial position. Assists with the preparation and oversight of budgets. The Finance Manager works closely with the Director of Finance and the staff of the Finance Department to ensure all financial activities and processes are compliant with state and federal regulations and conducted timely. Reviews grant applications and monitors grant awards to assure maximum effective utilization. Responsible for remaining up to date with federal and state funding regulations to remain compliant while maximizing grant revenue potential.
Assists with all work in Finance Department with oversight of AR, AP, GL, Payroll, and the development of all grant application budgets and all contract budgets where applicable.
Bachelor’s degree (BA) in accounting from an accredited four-year college or university and five years experience in finance in a public agency or governmental entity. Managerial experience preferably in public transportation or a related field and familiarity working with federal and state grant management.

Starting salary will be commensurate with years of experience and/or advanced educational degree.
