Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the overall objectives of the Corporate Finance department by executing the procedures and controls to ensure the accurate, timely and efficient processing and recording of transactions and funds received in accordance with Company policies.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform procedures and controls to facilitate accurate, timely and consistent processing and application of funds received through assigned channels; ensure that adequate documentation and support is maintained in the financial records for all transactions and balances.
• Maintain established service level commitments.
• Assist with the maintenance of an organized, efficient funds receipting, processing and record retention system.
• Assist with the secure processing of funds and the maintenance of asset safeguard measures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate customer trade account balances; perform research on customer account activity and reconcile customer accounts.
• Attend to external and internal inquiries/requests promptly regarding customer trade account balances and transactions.
• Resolve customer inquiries by providing transaction and account documentation; coordinate and collaborate with other individuals/departments to timely communicate and resolve account issues.
• Provide professional, courteous and timely service to customers regarding account transactions and balances; promote a positive image of the Company in all interactions.
• Compile data and prepare reports and analysis, as requested.
• Communicate timely with appropriate levels of management to address potential issues.
• Perform other accounting services duties, tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Position Requirements
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least five (5) years of experience in a corporate environment, with at least two (2) years in an accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting role

Preferred:
• Associate Degree in business related field (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
• At least three (3) years of experience in an accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting role
• Experience with data manipulation/analytics tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
