A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCE MANAGER
As a Finance Manager, you are an important member of our management team. You help ensure that the operations of our nonprofit are financially sound and secure. To do so, you spend your day undertaking a variety of tasks, such as financial report preparation and the analysis of our income and expenses. You also oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and budget preparation.
Some of your time is spent coordinating our monthly finance meetings where you review budget variances. Other times, you are busy with forecasting, grant reporting, or coordinating our annual audit. Organized and efficient, you take pride in ensuring that our business office runs smoothly. You know that our nonprofit touches lives, and you love helping us thrive!
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualification as a certified public accountant (CPA) is preferred. Five or more years of experience with nonprofit accounting and federal grant management is also preferred. Are you analytically minded? Do you have great communication skills, both verbal and written? Are you a team player? Can you lead and inspire others to do their best?
