Senior Finance Manager – Merchandising Finance
The Senior Finance Manager will be a key partner providing planning, forecasting, reporting and decision support for these functions. The successful candidate will be an analytical thought leader with a strong bias to action and the ability to collaborate across functions. The candidate should also have a proven track record of managing a team with competing priorities and providing clear guidance in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver insightful financial reporting/analyses that communicates key performance drivers to the business
Lead regular reviews to ensure key financial commitments are delivered
Recommend and implement benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance
Develop financial metrics and insights that identify expense opportunities and drive productivity
Identify and implement process improvements through automation and process standardization
Develops business cases for key initiatives and major programs by creating robust financial model; identifies risks to the organization and engaging the business owner in risk mitigation and trade-offs
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related analytical field
7+ years’ experience in a finance or analytical role
Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
Exceptional analytical skills; highly detail oriented
Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated skills in building and developing a team
Experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements
Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, TM1, Hyperion/Essbase, Business Objects, Cognos, Teradata, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-pace environment and manage multiple competing priorities
