ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Courtesy Officer force in assigned district
Review and audit E-Time for all assigned employees. Ensure that all breaks are taken in accordance with labor laws.
Manage labor budget for assigned area
Provide leadership and direction for WSS in all areas of asset protection
Manage burn and civil demand programs; ensure all contacts are documented and reports are well written and turned in on a timely manner
Review weekly reports to include tracking pilferage reports in order to identify possible trends and complete weekly summary’s
Track weekly mismate totals in order to focus resources towards reduction
Develop staffing plan; recruit, interview and hire top quality Courtesy Officers within assigned district
Work to reduce the turnover rate of each store to stabilize the workforce
Train and supervise field supervisors, floaters, trainers and officers within the assigned district to ensure the proper handling of all asset protection related matters.
Manage continuing education program for all Courtesy Officers
Maintain accurate records and submit required reports in a timely manner to all appropriate parties
Monitor expenditures in assigned district
Demonstrate commitment to company goals through a management style that promotes honest, open door communications; supportive of total customer service in an effort to foster teamwork
Maintain good relations with the local law enforcement agencies in order to obtain assistance when necessary
Communicate regularly and effectively with corporate, store and asset protection personnel
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School degree required, 4 year college degree preferred
4+ years of experience in Retail Loss prevention
Proven track-record in operations and driving execution
Multi-unit retail experience
Certifications: Prefer “Interrogation Techniques” provided by Wicklander & Zulaswki
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; proven track-record in communicating with all levels of management
Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and excellent judgment
Proven editorial skills, demonstrating a strong and creative command of the English language
REASONING ABILITY / MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Strong expertise with analytical data relating to shrink
Proficiency with retail math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages)
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with Aptos software is favored
Experience with CCTV monitoring system
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive demeanor
Ability to travel routinely
PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIORNMENT:
The job operates in a clerical, office setting. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
