The Generator Field Service Coordinator position offers a salary range of $95,000-120,000/yr. (depending on prior relevant experience), plus a 20% bonus potential, medical/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) with company match!
This is a managerial/supervisory role responsible for both the non-union and union employees. The ideal candidate will have experience managing both union and non-union labor, as well as experience managing or repairing heavy construction equipment.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager of Service, the Service Manager is responsible for the following tasks:
Successfully deliver & sell service of recognized superior value
Generate growth through service sales
Maximize service processes to provide fast, accurate service & minimize unnecessary expense
Effectively manage department operations
Continually monitor, measure, and improve processes
Forecast and budget resources to satisfy forecasts
Build & maintain environment characterized by safe work practices & high productivity/morale
Encourage safe work practices through enforcing timely completion of all safety initiatives
Hire and develop Service Dept. personnel
Effectively manage the employee performance review process
Maintain the building and keep grounds in clean, uncluttered state
Ensure the building is secure from theft and/or damage
Maintain the professionalism, appearance, and accessibility of our facilities
Take corrective action on any items noted during ongoing facility/work area assessments
Implement approved company recommendations for appearance & accessibility of facility

Minimum of 5 years experience in supervisory/management capacity required (minimum 20 employees, union environment strongly preferred)
Clean and valid driver’s license required
Must have good computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must have an understanding of and experience with budgeting and forecasting
Essential Physical Job Qualifications:
Standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods of time
Hand coordination (typing and writing)
Occasional forward bending and reaching
Occasional walking and climbing stairs
Carrying (up to 20lbs.)
