Overview:
We are looking for a Manager for Finance to directly support both the VP of FP&A and Director of FP&A. One aspect of the role is to support the VP of FPA in managing various aspects of financial and management reporting globally for one of the Company’s business segments. The other aspect of the role is to support the Director of FP&A for our largest region within the business segment whereby you will manage various aspects of financial reporting and oversee expense planning. This position will have two direct reports.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
Lead the consolidation of financials to enable timely and effective analysis of month-end results and quarterly forecast and annual planning reviews
Govern the process to collect key metrics to measure progress against strategic priorities
Provide insightful updates on weekly sales performance to the management team to ensure timely identification of risks and opportunities
Provide support in preparation for internal business reviews and Board of Director meetings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness as well as highlighting key insights
Lead reporting enhancement initiatives and development of analytical frameworks
Liaise between Corporate FP&A and Segment FP&A to drive timely completion of various FP&A activities
Develop and manage frameworks and processes to effectively manage headcount and expense planning
Perform ad-hoc operational and strategic analyses as needed
Qualifications:
Degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A
Experience in managing and developing finance professionals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels
Strong business partnership skills. Comfortable interacting with various levels of management
Self-starter and proven problem solver
Strong process and detail orientation. Superior organizational skills
Experience in SQL and data mining; experience with MicroStrategy and other business intelligence tools is a plus
