Finance Manager – Merchandising Finance
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Finance Manager to support the Merchandising function. By identifying the right products that resonate with customers and cultivating strong vendor relationships, the Merchant organization is central to Lowe’s delivering over $80B of profitable sales.
The primary purpose of this role is to partner directly with Merchandising leadership to drive proactive, insightful financial analysis which will inform fact-based, data-driven decision making.
This role has a seat at the table with complex and highly visible areas of a fast-paced business and will work in support of initiatives aligned with the Company’s strategic focus areas.
Cross functional collaboration is key along with the ability to leverage a matrixed organization toward timely completion of projects and analyses.
The successful candidate will have a strong bias toward action and will work closely with finance and partner teams to convert complex business plans into actionable monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans.
Additionally, this role will be tasked with developing and maintaining performance reporting, building business cases for strategic merchandising initiatives, and fostering strong connections with partner teams.
The Finance Manager is responsible for acting as a subject matter expert and thought leader on their respective team, as well as taking on the responsibility of mentoring and developing junior team members.
Strong knowledge of financial and business analytics principles is a must for this role, as well as the ability to influence and effectively communicate with senior leaders of Lowe’s.
