Position Purpose:
In this position, the Manager of Finance will be expected to provide financial leadership, direction, and analysis to the Pro Capabilities organization. As a member of the strategic leadership team for the function, the leader of Finance will play a key role in driving functional metrics and work closely with the finance leadership, in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value. This role has responsibility for creating analytics, translating business questions to actionable insights, supporting ongoing analytical needs, and partnering with cross-functional teams across Pro, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and other groups within Home Depot to drive Pro performance.
Major Tasks, Responsibilies and Key Accountabilites:
Collaborates with cross functional business partners to deliver high quality analytics and insights in support of the enterprise Pro strategy.
Leads analytical projects and deep dives to uncover new insights to drive growth and profitability within Pro customers.
Synthesizes insights across various business areas to make recommendations on Pro strategy
Develops and executes weekly and monthly performance tracking of Pro initiatives, Pro merchandising and Pro customer responsiveness.
Leads, plans, and coordinates work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial function and activity; utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload. Ensures operational processes and procedures are compliant and consist with established policies.
Drive key functional financial metrics in the Pro business
Project Management- Develops and supports a strategic alliance with business partners. Participates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage. Facilitates cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Pro, Supply Chain, Merchandising, Operations, and Information Systems.
Nature and Scope:
Typically reports to Senior Manager.
This position does not have direct reports.
Environmental Job Requirements:
Travel: Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Strong technical skills (SQL, Tableau)
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, analysis and reporting of financial data.
Knowledge of business and mgmt. Principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation.
Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Judgement and decision-making skills; considering relative costs, benefits of potential actions.
